FOC Adult History Classes: Founding of New Orleans

Dive into history with our Adult History Classes—all live on Zoom and recorded for your convenience! Join Historian Charles Chamberlain for four lively sessions on the founding of New Orleans, happening Sept. 22, 23, 25, and 29 at 4pm. Each two-hour class explores the city’s early environment, French colonial roots, and Bienville’s 1718 founding, plus the vibrant growth of Nouvelle Orleans in the 1720s and 1730s. Members pay $40, general admission $50—come uncover the story behind the Crescent City!
