Join us throughout the year as we talk about southeastern Connecticut's contributions to the Revolution!

In honor of America's 250th commemoration, all are cordially invited to our six-part series, Revolutionary Talks! Led by NLCHS executive director, Steve Manuel, we will discuss roles of individuals from southeaster Connecticut and their impact on the success of the war effort.

We begin our series with the owner of Shaw Mansion:

Nathaniel Shaw Jr, Quartermaster of the Revolution

Nathaniel Shaw Jr. became the Naval Agent for both the Continental and Connecticut Navies. Learn how he provisioned the Continental Army and obtained funds to support the war effort.
