We will explore types of carving blocks, inks, and papers, and you will learn how to transfer your design and carve and ink the block. You will then handprint your design on fabric. Bring two items of clothing with you to print. For best results, clothing should be made of cotton, denim, or linen.  Please read through the relief printing handout (found here) before class. Several patterns will be available for you to choose from, or you can bring your own.
