- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 12 Jun, 2026 at 05:30 pm – Fri, 12 Jun, 2026 at 07:30 pm
- **Event Description**: “Whose Freedom?”

As the United States approaches 250 years, we’re asking a simple but challenging question: Whose freedom has this nation protected and whose has it denied? This Juneteenth, we invite neighbors of all ages and backgrounds to join a community conversation about the promises of 1776, the realities of slavery and segregation, and the ongoing struggle for justice today. Together, we’ll explore how we can tell a more honest story of America that includes all of us.

Gather around the campfire for a community conversation to commemorate historic and present-day struggles toward freedom and hear more about the work of Joseph McGill of the Slave Dwelling Project and Tammy Denease of Hidden Women Productions.

Registration is appreciated and will be available soon at ctlandmarks.org/juneteenth
