Want to get your board and staff excited about fundraising? Not sure where to start? The Fundraising Readiness Trainings are for small and mid-sized nonprofit organizations that are new to fundraising or looking to ramp up their fundraising efforts. This free series of workshops will help participants identify specific steps they can take to get their organizations, board, and staff ready for a comprehensive fundraising strategy.Session DetailsEach cohort can accommodate up to 30 organizations (one representative each). Organizations should plan to bring a board member to Session 2. This program will include three in-person trainings that are each three hours long (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM):Thursday, May 7: Telling Your StoryThursday, May 21: Building a Culture of FundraisingThursday, June 4: Building Your StrategyParticipant Commitment / ExpectationsComplete survey on current fundraising capacity to help tailor the content (15-20 minutes) by 4/30/26Attend all 3 sessionsBring a Board member to Session 2Participate in an end of program evaluationIntended AudienceThis training is intended for Executive Directors or Development staff of 501(c)(3) nonprofits that:Are located in Southwestern PA: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties.Have at least one (1) paid employee.Have an annual budget between $100,000 and $5,000,000.
