- **Event Description**: Twin Rose has a long history in York County, beginning with its founding in Long Level by veterans of the Civil War. The band has gone through many names since its founding, from its original name of the Long Level Silver Cornet Band, to the Long Level Band, and then to the VFW Band when the ensemble moved across the river to Columbia in 1999. When the band moved back to Wrightsville in 2014, it changed its name to the Twin Rose Community Band to honor both of the counties in which it has performed. Twin Rose includes ValleyView's pastor, Lee Nanfelt, on the trumpet.
