Class will be held at New Hill Community Center. Shooting test will be done at Woody'sAbout this EventClass required to obtain CCH certificate to aquire the NC CCH permit. Minimum 7 participants. Students must have their own pistol, eyes, and ear protection. We do not provide equipment. Passing of written and shooting tests is manditory to receive the certificate per NC DOJ regulations. Round count 40.Shooting exam requires student to perform without assistance. Instructor will assist ONLY to clear pistol jams that the student cannot solve. Students failing shooting exam may return within 3 months at no cost to requalify. If shooting semi-automatic the following tasks are required: load magazine 5 rounds in 20 seconds, insert and remove magazine, charge pistol by racking slide, locking slide to rear, setting safety. Safe pistol handling includes: muzzle down range at all times (unless shooting from holster), finger off trigger until sights are aligned on target and decision to shoot is made, finger off trigger BEFORE gun is brought off target. All safety instructions MUST be followed.Students that fail to perform required tasks or follow instructions of the instructor / range officer may be asked to leave the range.It is recommended that students verfy competency with their pistol prior to attending.
