- **Event Description**: Please join us Sunday, April 19th, for the 2026 New Haven Sacred Harp All-Day Singing! Please join us at Rosenfeld Hall from 10am to 3pm, with a midday break for dinner on the grounds.

We'll be singing from the 2025 edition of the Sacred Harp tunebook. This is a community singing event–not a performance–and singers of all ability levels are encouraged to join. We will have loaner copies of the Sacred Harp 2025 edition available for use during the All-Day. New copies of the 2025 edition available for purchase.

DIRECTIONS:
On-street parking in New Haven is free on Sundays. Yale parking lot 51, located a four minute walk from the venue between Elm and Wall streets, is also free on the weekend. Additionally, there is ample paid parking available at nearby downtown garages. Rosenfeld Hall is a 1 mile walk or cab ride from the New Haven Amtrak/commuter rail station. 

ACCESSIBILITY: 
We will be singing on the first floor of Rosenfeld Hall. Please enter via the side door on Temple Street; the main entrance in the courtyard leads to an off-limits dormitory space.

The entrance to the venue is equipped with an automatic door opener. The hall has two single-stall, all-gender restrooms (one accessible).

HOUSING:
Overnight housing is available with local singers. Please contact our housing coordinator at shelterfromthestormyblast@gmail.com.

DINNER ON THE GROUNDS:
All in attendance are invited to join us for a potluck lunch on the grounds. Please bring a dish for the potluck if you’re able to. There are no kitchen facilities available on site, so please bring your food ready to serve. 

SOCIAL:
The social will be at the Trinity Bar (157 Orange), halfway between Rosenfeld Hall and Union Station.

OTHER SINGINGS:
The singers of Providence, Rhode Island will be holding their all-day singing on Saturday, April 18th, at Providence Friends Meeting Hall. (https://www.ri-sacredharp.net/#h.7jn4d4q5xx6l)

Our weekly New Haven singings are held every Tuesday evening from 7–9 PM in Stoeckel Hall, Room 106, located at 496 College St in New Haven.
