We are starting at the very beginning by mastering the Butt and Rabbet joints. While they may look simple, these two connections are the backbone of cabinetry and box making. This session is about moving past "good enough" and learning the precision required for professional results.
What to Expect
This is a high focus, hands-on workshop centered on repetition and technique. Instead of rushing to finish a take home project, you will spend the session practicing the layout and execution of these two foundational joints. The instructor will guide you through the mechanical reasons why one joint succeeds where another fails. You will leave with the muscle memory needed to apply these skills to your own future builds.
Skills You’ll Acquire
Joint Selection: Learning when to use a simple Butt joint versus a reinforced Rabbet.
