By the end of the workshop, each participant will proudly take home a completed small stained glass sun catcher.
What to Expect
In this single-session workshop, you’ll assemble your suncatcher step-by-step using the Tiffany stained glass method. The instructor will provide a selection of simple, premade vinyl pattern designs to choose from. The class will cover every stage of the process:
Safely cutting and grinding glass
Applying copper foil
Soldering your panel together
Expect a supportive environment with live demonstrations, instructor guidance, and ample time to work on your project.
Skills You’ll Acquire
Safe handling of stained glass materials
Applying copper foil and soldering joints
Basic stained glass assembly and finishing
What’s Provided
Precut glass pieces and all materials (foils, soldering supplies, etc.)
Safety equipment (gloves, goggles, etc.)
Expert instruction and demonstrations
A completed stained glass ornament to take home at the end of class
Who Should Attend
This workshop is ideal for beginners curious about stained glass, design, or hands-on traditional crafts. No previous experience is required—just a willingness to learn and create.
Prerequisites/Safety Information
No prerequisites. Safety gear and tool guidance will be provided in class. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind working in.�
