Lt. Col. Alison Weir (Ret), executive director of the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center is the principal speaker. Conductor Jillian Emerson will lead Music Haven’s Harmony In Action Orchestra and the East Haven based, Connecticut Minuteman Composite Squadron from the Civil Air Patrol lead by Major Carlos Vega will be the color guard. Soloist Ruth Rosa will sing the National Anthem and Peter Cannon will perform “Taps.”

Following the ceremony at City Hall, commemorative wreaths will be placed at the World War Memorial on the Green and at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Long Wharf Drive.
