Grand Atlantic is a dynamic two-piece duo brandishing soulful drum loops, emotive vocals and shimmering acoustic guitars reminiscent of City and Colour at a Brandon Flowers after-party. The band was born from the ashes of FM Berlin, the 2019 Music New Brunswick Artist in Rotation award recipients and 2018 Rock Artist of the Year. Hailing from Moncton, New Brunswick, the duo's members were formerly nominated for two 2019 East Coast Music Awards. After sharing stages with Classified, Joel Plaskett, and Elyse Aeryn, a live-performance Instagram post helped the band get discovered by producers Maia Davies (co-writer of Mother Mother's smash hit "The Drugs") and David Mohacsi (Three Days Grace, Monster Truck, Mother Mother). After Davies reached out to the duo in the form of a comment on their live- performance Instagram post that simply read, "Let's make a record," the band went on to work with Davies and Mohacsi on their debut EP, Vaults, which is scheduled for full release in September of this year.
