🎉✨ Get ready, New Glasgow! As part of our 150th Anniversary Celebrations, we’re excited to present our very first-ever Drone Show, a spectacular highlight you won’t want to miss!
🗓 When: Sunday, August 31, 2025 (rain date September 1)
⏰ Time: Live music kicks off at 7 PM with Reckless at Glasgow Square, followed by the dazzling drone show at 9 PM lighting up the sky over Amasipukwejk (Ah-mah-see-boog-whesk).
📍 Where: Official viewing areas are the Glasgow Square parking lot and Rotary Park
Produced by North Star Drone Show - nationally known for their breathtaking displays - this event promises a safe, inclusive, and unforgettable experience for all ages.
Important notes:
🚫 No pyrotechnics will be used. The show fully complies with provincial wildfire safety regulations.
📍 Rotary Park is open and follows all current guidelines in place. The Samson Trail remains closed until further notice.
⚠️ Expect some extra traffic and foot traffic downtown and along the riverfront before and after the show.
