Join Paranormal Cares Inc. for an intimate paranormal investigation of the historic New Egypt Museum, with proceeds benefiting the Associated Humane Societies’ Tinton Falls shelter and its mission to rescue and care for stray, homeless, injured, and abused animals.

The New Egypt Museum offers investigators multiple floors of history—and reported paranormal activity.

According to an article in Ghosted Magazine, the first floor consists of three main areas: a meeting room and two museum rooms connected by a staircase. In the room containing the fireplace, stories have been told of hearing what sounds like a young person crying around the time the Christmas decorations are taken down. Investigators have also reported unexplained EMF spikes and REM-Pod activity in this area.

The museum even houses a piece of the Hindenburg, which crashed in nearby Lakehurst in 1937.

As you make your way upstairs, the staircase provides a striking view all the way toward the attic. The second floor contains four rooms, including a bedroom that previous investigators have described as one of the creepiest areas of the building. Reported evidence from this room has included EVPs and a photograph appearing to show the figure of a tall, slender woman in the closet.

But this isn’t an event where you simply watch a paranormal team investigate.

You become the investigator.

We will provide paranormal investigation equipment for guests to use, including many of the types of devices you’ve seen used on television. You’ll investigate alongside our paranormal team and have the opportunity to conduct your own experiments and experience what a real investigation is like. This is about as close as you can get to becoming part of a paranormal investigation team for the night.

Investigating for a Cause

Proceeds from this investigation will benefit the Associated Humane Societies’ Tinton Falls shelter, whose mission is to rescue and provide compassionate care for stray, lost, homeless, injured, and abused animals. The organization provides safe shelter, food, medical treatment, rehabilitation, adoption services, animal protection assistance, and programs such as Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR), giving animals a second chance at finding safe and loving permanent homes.

So while we’re spending the night searching for those who may still linger within this historic building, we’ll also be helping animals who are very much here and need someone looking out for them.

Guests may bring their own refreshments. We also recommend bringing a flashlight and wearing comfortable shoes, preferably sneakers.
