Win. offers participants a glimpse into the role of games in conservation education and communication. The workshop introduces play-based learning and explores its potential for creating impactful learning experiences online, offline, and in the field—from building a connection with nature to communicating research, supporting conflict resolution, and strengthening community engagement.The workshop is divided into three segments. Participants will first experience a range of innovative conservation and nature-based games developed by organisations and educators. The second segment focuses on understanding the basic principles of game design. In the final segment, participants will work in small groups to create and present their own game concepts based on conservation and nature themes.And yes, we will play plenty of games along the way!About the FacilitatorPeeyush SekhsariaPeeyush Sekhsaria is an Architect and Geographer with a deep interest in nature, conservation, and education. He works at the intersection of design, nature education, and conservation, creating innovative learning experiences that foster environmental awareness and engagement.He has co-created several games focused on nature education and conservation themes and regularly writes about nature for children's magazines as well as national print and online media platforms. He is also the author and co-author of several books for children.With more than five years of experience as a wildlife educator, Peeyush has worked with organisations including WWF, WTI, Early Bird, and the Ecological Society.
