It stands today as both a memorial and a living archive honoring the millions of men women and children who lost their homes—and often their lives—virtually overnight.This walk takes visitors through the museum’s six evocative galleries which trace a chronological and emotional journey. Beginning with the early 1900s and the rising resistance to British colonial rule the narrative builds toward the fateful moment of independence and Partition.
