- **Event Description**: Join us for a day of fellowship, art, food, and beautiful readings by some of Kentucky's most esteemed writers!About this EventThis year we are thrilled to be joined by the following authors reading and signing their work:Wendell Berry, Kentucky Poet Laureate Kathleen Driskell, Silas House, Maurice Manning, Frank X Walker, Gray Zeitz, Shauna Morgan, Robert Gipe, Mandi Fugate Sheffel, Wesley Houp, and Mark Schimmoeller.We are also excited to be hosting the work Kentucky artist John Andrew Dixon in our gallery. Rooted in visual design and inspired by the avant-garde history of collage, LITTER-ALLY KENTUCKY: Collage en plein air is a compelling body of work that transforms discarded materials into powerful statements on beauty, environment, and belonging. Created entirely from recycled and found objects these intricate collage landscapes offer a unique perspective on Kentucky’s rural beauty and the urgent need for environmental care.Tickets are required to attend the readings but the bookstore, gallery show, Larkspur Press table, October Press table, and book signing are open to the public.Space is limited, so reserve your seat early.Enjoy lunch at Ernestos Taqueria, Longshot Lobsta food truck, or Bootlegger Grill food truck.Free parking is available along Main Street in the large parking lot behind The Berry Center.View the schedule below.
