Steve is a multiple World and National Champion trainer, with a background in Dressage, which he credits to his success in Dressage, Reining, and Stock Horse events. Al riders can expect to work the flag and live cattle thesughout the course of the three day clinic. Riders may register for both the Beginner and Advanced Clinic Sessions. All clinic participants are welcome and encouraged to audit the clinic sessions that they are not riding as. Stalls, camping hookups, and shower facilities available at the facility. Concessions will be available at meal times. Hotles and restaurants located withing 15 min of the facility
July 9 Semi Private Lessons with Steve-$125/rider for the 90 min. lesson
Required for those riders who are registered for the Beginners Clinic and/or have never taken a lesson from or a clinic with Steve (including those registered for the Advance clinic if they have never taken a clinic with Steve These lessons will focus on Steve's basic horsemanship methods that are the basis for a solid foundation for any discipline. Also open to riders who have ridden with Steve before and would like individualized time prior to the clinic. "Only open to riders registered for one or more clinic sessions
Beginners Clinic July 10-12 9am-1pm-$675/rider
The beginner's clinic is recommended for riders or those riders with green horses who are just getting started in cow harse events or who have not had much or any cow experience, and will focus on tuning your basic horsemanship skills and using those to start your work in cattle events. All level of riders are welcome! No prior com experience necessary.
Advance Clinic July 10-12 2pm-6pm-$675/rider
The advanced clinic is recommended for riders who have previous working cow experience and are ready to show, or are already showing, in the working cow horse class. This clinic will include rein work as well as "bos fence corde work. Riders should be prepared to work on improving basic maneuvers-stops, spins, lead changes. Cow work will include fence turns and circling
Auditing-
Auditing is available for all four days of the clinic for $100 or $35/ individual day. Camping in available for auditors
*There is no bleacher seating. Please plan accordingly, bring chairs, sun screen, drinks, etc.
