🎨 Clay Mushroom Making Workshop 🍄
Create, Sculpt, and Glaze Your Own Magical Mushrooms
Join us for a hands-on, two-part clay workshop where you'll sculpt and design your very own whimsical mushrooms out of clay! Whether you're a beginner or seasoned crafter, this workshop is the perfect chance to get creative, unwind, and make something truly unique.
Workshop Details:
🗓 Part 1: Sculpt & Shape
In the first session, you'll be guided step-by-step in hand-building two unique clay mushrooms using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Learn how to form expressive caps, textured stems, and add fun details like gills, dots, or even fairy doors! We'll use high-quality clay to bring your fungi creations to life.
🗓 Part 2: Glaze & Paint (Return Visit)
After your pieces have dried and been bisque-fired (can take up to 2 weeks), we will contact you and you'll come back to glaze and paint your mushrooms with beautiful ceramic glazes. Choose from a wide range of colors and finishes—glossy, matte, earthy, or vibrant—and learn how to apply them for a professional look. Your glazed mushrooms will then be fired in the kiln for their final transformation! Part 2 can be done during our walk-in pottery hours.

One small, wide-cap toadstool with optional carved details or painted spots

📅 Duration: Each session lasts approx. 1.5 to 2 hours
