- **Event Description**: Round 1 of Lone Star Drift will take place at Speed Sportz Racing Park in Houston, TX.  This weekend includes the Texas Street Legal Series as well as the LSD ProAM series, and lots of practice time for anyone wanting to drift and not compete.  We will have instructors on hand if you are new, and plenty of awesome drivers to tandem with if you are experienced! 

The prize for the season is a trip to Japan to go drifting for about 2 weeks for both the winners of TXSL and PROAM.  

Schedule

Saturday

8 am gates open
9:30 track goes hot
2:30 TXSL comp starts and takes about 1.5 hours
5 pm track goes cold

Sunday

9 am gates open
10:30 or so track goes hot
1:30 PROAM comp starts
6 pm track goes cold or whenever we have to go cold

Driver entry fee is $200 and is paid online only at https://lonestardrift.bigcartel.com

Spectator cost is $30 for the weekend and is paid at the gate.
