She also created the popular travelogue series, "Bidexot Apun Manuh" on the Assamese diaspora.Meheli Sen, Associate Professor and Director of the Cinema Studies program at Rutgers University, a scholar of post-independence Indian cinema with a focus on Hindi and Bengali films, genre, gender, and popular media cultures.The conversation will explore Bhupen Hazarika’s artistic and political legacy, the making of Bhupen Da Uncut, and the continuing relevance of his work to contemporary media, culture, and social movements.This event is free and open to the public.
