- **Event Description**: Join in welcoming in the Christmas season with the New Brighton Community Life Committee and their annual Christmas in the Park event at Townsend Park on Saturday December 6, 2025.

The event will begin at 5:00 PM, with the official lighting of the decorations at 6:00 PM. Wreaths decorated by New Brighton Elementary School students will be on display.  Most wreaths can be won, later in the evening, buy purchasing tickets for a Chinese auction.  The remaining wreaths can be won by silent auction.  Proceeds from both auctions will go towards the New Brighton Community Life Committee Christmas Food Drive.

Live music and Christmas carols will be sang throughout the evening and light refreshments will be provided by the members of the New Brighton Masonic Lodge.

Santa Claus will also be arriving after the decorations are lit. Children and families are welcome to visit with Santa during this festive occasion.
