The field is 42°20'35.2"N 72°12'07.2"WCome help Wachusett NEMBA with supporting a local Eagle Scout Candidate with a project to build a new MTB trail! We believe this project could be the phase one for something really special on this parcel -so let’s make it a huge success. Description from Scout leading the project:"Hello, my name is Elliott, and this is my Eagle Scout project. I am asking the MTB community to help build a new mountain bike trail to adaptive standards at Patril Hollow in Hardwick. MA. This project is being done in partnership with the East Quabbin Land Trust, NEMBA and Boy Scouts to create a perimeter trail on this parcel that is about 1/2 mile of adaptive friendly trail for all bikers and the community.We will need a couple brush cutters and leaf blowers in addition to a couple chain saws with GOL certification. We’ll be clearing brush, trimming branches, raking and leveling the trail. This trail will be connected to the miles of beautiful trail already in place. Please bring gloves and appropriate clothing to be in the woods. This part of the property has brambles and poison ivy. We do need a couple of folks that are excited for some trail stonework for a wall crossing. So, if rocks are your passion this part is for you. Refreshments will be provided."
