- **Event Description**: Join spoken word artist Maia Livramento to learn the fundamentals of performance poetry, explore both rhymed and free verse forms, and create original work.

Each session will include 30 minutes of discussion on core elements of the craft, 30 minutes of writing, and 30 minutes of sharing and refining performances. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook, a pen, and an openness to trying something new.

This class meets on Thursdays, 4/23, 4/30, and 5/7 from 6-7:30 PM.

This class is suitable for all ages and all skill levels.

Anyone with an EBT, WIC, or Connector Care card is eligible for reduced price tickets, distributed on a first come first serve basis. Card to Culture tickets cannot be purchased online. Please call our Box Office at 508.994.2900 to inquire.
