Beech Village hall is a wellbeing hub designed for your inner peace, holistic health & ease. Dances here always feel very special. The Spring Equinox marks the beginning of Spring, a potent energetic turning point of union, renewal and rebirth as night and day, dark and light, feminine and masculine come into balance. Life begins to sprout forth, the earth comes alive with life again, our seeds and dreams become more manifest with the rising energy of the sun. We release winter's stagnation and embrace a vibrant, fresh energy into our hearts & lives. The Spring Equinox is one of the Wheel of the Year thresholds that our ancestors celebrated, connecting us deeply with the seasons and our natural cyclical way of life. We are being called to remember our interconnectedness and belonging in the web of life, to remember our innate knowing of union, balance and harmony. These celebrations offer a time and space to gather and remember together, to honour and celebrate the seasons and our true nature as a part of the wider cosmology. ABOUT AYLA & MIDDLE EARTH MEDICINE: Ayla Willow is a Mother, dancer, singer/musician & lover of nature. She facilitates a remembrance of our wholeness through dance, song & reconnection to Self, Spirit and Nature. In 2015 she was called to a deep journey of descent and rediscovery. She apprenticed with Jane Hardwicke Collings in Shamanic Womancraft in 2017 and later with Tatanka White Ohitika in 2018 to hold women’s circles as part of the Brave White Buffalo Foundation. In recent years her work has focused more on group work and circular forms of leadership and community. She began an apprenticeship with Caroline Carey and Middle Earth Medicine in 2019 and is now an assistant teacher, holding circles, workshops & retreats, as well as 1:1 mentoring to support people to reconnect with themselves & their soul’s journey through self reflection & awareness, dance/movement, ritual and ceremony, and embodied cyclical wisdom. She is also a drum maker and holds drum crafting workshops and drumming circles. She continues to follow the call to integrate ancient ways into modern living; building community and transforming our current culture into a more life, soul and spirit honouring one. WHO IS THIS FOR? This is an inclusive life practice for ALL ages, sizes, genders, fitness levels & health conditions.
