Start times: Toddler Crawl – 7:45 am, Kids FUN Run  – 8:00 am, Pet Parade – 8:15 am, 5k Run and Walk – 8:45 am.

Top 3 overall male and female winners in the 5k and Competitive Walk will receive two complimentary tickets to an upcoming New Albany Symphony Orchestra performance, a large apple pie, and cash prizes: $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place, and $25 for 3rd.

Additionally, we will award the top 3 male and female age group winners in the 5k and Competitive Walk two complimentary tickets to an upcoming New Albany Symphony Orchestra performance. 1st place male and female age group winners will also receive a large apple pie!

Age groups are as follows:

5k Run and Competitive Walk:

9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,  55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

~Live music and dance performances as well as cheering along the race course by the race beneficiaries

~Official Independence Day t-shirts for all 5K participants – unisex shirt sizes: youth S/M/L & adult S/M/L/XL/2XL/3XL

~Finisher medals for all 5k participants, both live event and virtual participants

~T-shirts for all Kids FUN Run participants

~Bomb-pop popsicles, finisher medals and patriotic goodies and for all Kids FUN Run participants

~Kids area including painting, temporary tattoos and Miss Dee the balloon lady!

~State of the art chip timing

~Custom race bibs

~Panera bagels

~New Albany Independence Day Parade will follow this event at 11am
