"The Sound of Stone" refers to Karahunj, "the Armenian Stonehenge." Syrian-Armenian visual artist Kevork Mourad illuminates the journey of the Armenian people from the fifth century onward with a multimedia work featuring his own live drawings and a new composition by the the esteemed Armenian composer and pianist Vache Sharafyan.
Inspired by the exhibition Armenia! on view at The Met Fifth Avenue September 22, 2018–January 13, 2019.

Enjoy a pre-performance drink in The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. Wine, prosecco, and water will be available for purchase. Doors will open approximately one hour prior to the event.
