We are extremely excited for this year's FEST, returning to NYC for the 40th anniversary of the FEST and commemorating the 50th anniversary (to the date) of the arrival of The Beatles in America!
This year's FEST will be EPIC.
Among the musical guests who will be joining us are Donovan, Peter Asher, Chad and Jeremy, Billy J. Kramer, The Smithereens, The Nutopians, Mark Hudson, Birds of Paradox, Mark Rivera, and of course Liverpool - our incredible house band, viewed as the best Beatles Tribute Band in the World.
In addition to our tremendous lineup of musical guests, this year's NYC FEST will feature The Cavern, a brand new ballroom that will be a place to rediscover The Beatles through a mixed bag of modern interpretations: young rock bands who admire The Beatles, fashion designers, hip hop artists, dancers, young performers, spiritual thought leaders and DJs playing into the night as it turns into the Rave Cave.
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 7 - 5:00PM TILL 12 MIDNIGHT*
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 8 - 10:30AM TILL 12 MIDNIGHT*
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9 - 10:30 AM TILL 12 MIDNIGHT
* The CAVERN (Manhattan Ballroom) will be in action until 2AM on both Friday and Saturday.
PETER ASHER of Peter & Gordon, who will be performing his "Musical Memoir Show."
DONOVAN, 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, who will be hosting a talk on meditation and the White Album, performing in concert on Saturday, and joining Liverpool during their concerts on both Saturday and Sunday.
CHAD & JEREMY, 60s British Invasion duo.
LIVERPOOL, our amazing house band, who will be in concert all three nights.
BILLY J. KRAMER, who will be performing and also promoting his new CD, “I Won the Fight.”
MARK HUDSON, Ringo’s former producer and Aerosmith hit-maker.
COUSIN BRUCIE, a mainstay of New York hit radio for more than 40 years, who will be broadcasting his SiriusXM show live from the stage of the Empire Ballroom on Saturday, February 8th, from 6:00PM - 9:00PM.
THE SMITHEREENS, who will be recreating the iconic Washington Coliseum concert The Beatles gave on February 11th, 1964. The Smithereens consist of Pat DiNizio, Jim Babjak, Severo "The Thrilla" Jornacion, and Dennis Diken.
THE NUTOPIANS, headed by Rex Fowler (Aztec Two Step) and Tom Dean (Devonsquarean), are an 8 piece ensemble that re-imagines the music of John Lennon (Sunday only).
BIRDS OF PARADOX, local artist Jeff Slate's band that includes Steve Holley (Wings), Gary Van Scyoc, and Adam Ippolito (from John's Lennon Elephant Memory Band). On Sunday, they will be performing a tribute to Wings and to John Lennon, but we are sure they will be adding a Beatles song or two for the occasion.
MARK RIVERA, the amazing saxophone player who’s played with John Lennon and Ringo Starr, and still tours with Billy Joel. Mark will be joining in on the fun on stage, and is also debuting his new Beatles CD, “Common Bond.”
DEAR PRUDENCE, she's coming out to play! Prudence Farrow studied Transcendental Meditation with The Beatles and the Maharishi in India. She will be sharing stories all weekend long in the Ashram.
