RUNHealthy: Wednesday Walks with NYRR Striders
If you’re looking for a fun, social group to explore Central Park, join the NYRR Striders at the NYRR RUNCENTER. This free walking group for older adults offers coach-led classes every week. The NYRR Striders program aims to improve attitudes toward exercise and make running and walking more accessible. Each class includes strength exercises and stretching movements to improve balance and flexibility, 30-45 minutes of outdoor walking to build endurance levels, and active conversations on best practices for healthy living.
