Ride 4 Remembrance
Please join Law Enforcement Officers Weekend on Sunday, October 20th, rain or shine, as hundreds of motorcycles ride from the World Trade Center to Long Beach, New York in honor and remembrance of all Law Enforcement Officers who we’ve lost. Line of duty deaths, suicide, illness or accidents, we ride in their memory to show our love and support for our family in blue.
An opening ceremony will commence at Liberty Park (Port Authority, World Trade Center) at 9:15am sharp. The ceremony will consist of Pipes & Drums, the National Anthem and speeches from local Law Enforcement and elected officials. The Ride 4 Remembrance will commence at 10am sharp, following the conclusion of the opening ceremony.
At the end of the route, all registered riders are invited to partake in a Remembrance Party at The Junction (directly across from the end location in Long Beach) from 12 to 2pm. The party includes an open draft domestic beer bar, appetizer buffet, live music, raffles, 50/50 and more!
Active and retired law enforcement officers, families, friends and law enforcement supporters are highly encouraged to attend the ride! Please show your support by flying Thin Blue Line & American Flags (small flags affixed appropriately to your bike), wearing law enforcement apparel or displaying the name/photo of your loved one you’re riding in remembrance for on your bike or t-shirt.
*Full police escort provided by NYPD Highway and other law enforcement agencies*
