- **Event Description**: Please join us for an evening of critical conversations about the diverse works of Larry Rivers. Discussions will focus on various notions of appropriation and interdisciplinary practices, which the artist exhibited throughout his ever-changing career, as well those varied practices in relation to contemporary modes of art making.

DAVID JOEL
Executive Director for the Larry Rivers Foundation, David also worked for approximately fifteen years as assistant to Larry Rivers. He has authored articles and given lectures on Rivers' life and art. LARRY RIVERS FOUNDATION.org

NICOLAS MARTIN
Librarian for Archival Collections at Fales Library & Special Collections at New York University who oversaw the processing of the Rivers Paper after acquisition in the autumn of 2010. SAUL OSTROW
Independent critic and curator who has also edited several books series such as Critical Voice in Art, Art History as Cultural History and Theory and Culture published by Routledge, London. NATE HARRISON
Brooklyn based Artist and writer working at the intersection of intellectual property, cultural production and the formation of creative processes in modern media. He has been internationally exhibited and widely published including What is Transformative? The Enemy Reader, Vol.II, No.II (2015) and Appropriation Art, Subjectivism, Crisis: The Battle for Fair Uses in Chris and Gerstner, eds., Media Authorship (Routledge, 2012).
