Out of the Depths by Chaim Potok
The Collected Plays of Chaim Potok, edited by his daughter Rena, is the first-ever collection of the author’s plays. In celebration of its publication, join Rena Potok and cast for a staged reading and New York premiere of Chaim Potok’s play, Out of the Depths. Based on the life of S. Ansky, the play is set in 1920 in a Warsaw rehearsal room where the Vilna Troupe is preparing to perform Ansky’s famous play, The Dybbuk. Book sales and signing follow the program.
