Kent Tritle conducts the 200-voice Oratorio Society of New York in the US Premiere of a new critical edition of Johannes Brahms’s A German Requiem. Brahms authorities Michael Musgrave and Michael Struck led an international team of scholars to restore Brahms’s original intentions for his choral masterpiece, letting the work shine with new light.

Kent Tritle conducts the 200-voice Oratorio Society of New York in a program saluting the nation’s heritage and diversity, featuring the World Premiere of Paul Moravec and Mark Campbell’s A Nation of Others, a celebration of the immigrant experience at Ellis Island, and Robert Paterson’s Whitman’s America, settings of poems from Leaves of Grass.
