Individual excursion to the glacier Perito Moreno - one of the most "easily accessible" glaciers of the park, was recognized by UNESCO as a natural treasure of mankind in 1981. These are huge spaces covered with a 60 meter layer of moving ice - the size of a 25 storey building.

You can look at (Glaciers) it from the shore, from the water or even walk along the very glacier and visit its blue caves! Sometimes it becomes difficult to understand where a feature of the horizon lies between the ice sheet and the sky. Each year, Perito Moreno glacier blocks the strait between two lakes - Argentina and Rico - blocking the flow of water from one lake to another. The accumulated melt water in Lake Rico creates a lot of pressure on the ice. The ice dam does not stand up and forms a tunnel in the thickness of the ice. Within two or three days, the tunnel is blurred, until a huge arch collapses into the water with a great crash. This phenomenon is one of the most interesting spectacles in the world.
