Introduction to Coffee is the ideal course for anyone new to the coffee industry or simply interested in this wonderful beverage. It charts coffee’s journey from its origins in Ethiopia to the major commodity it is today, enjoyed by millions of people worldwide. From coffee processing to roasting, from brewing to tasting— this course gives a general overview of coffee’s supply chain. This half-day course also includes a “coffee cupping” which will aid you in identifying the various flavors of coffee more objectively.This class is held in person at a Counter Culture training center and led by one of our Authorized SCA Trainers.In order to register for this class, you need an SCA Learner Number. To create a free SCA Learner Number or to find your existing number, please visit http://www.scae.com/registration.***Counter Culture is committed to mitigating the spread of COVID-19. For the health and safety of our employees, guests, and communities at large, masks are mandatory for entry. Additional local mandates may apply.
