From Jim Crow to Black Power: Vitalizing Black History in the Classroom
Join us for a daylong exploration of the Black experience from Reconstruction through the Black Power Movement. Educators from the Schomburg and New York Historical Society will co-lead tours of the exhibitions Black Power! and Joy Out of Fire, and present classroom sessions featuring the new curriculum, Black Citizenship in the Age of Jim Crow.
