We have a group ticket block for classmates, other Yalies and friends on Tuesday, May 6 at 7:00pm.Dead Outlaw was the most award-winning musical of 2024, when it opened off-broadway last year, including four Best Musical prizes. It opens on Broadway April 27 with the original cast, telling the true story of Elmer McCurdy, a man more famous in death than life. After dying young, the former train robber — that is, his preserved corpse — got a second life as a sideshow attraction. McCurdy's unbelievable tale is set to folk-rock music played by an onstage band, (Band Leader: Jeb Brown!) making Dead Outlaw a unique combination of a radio play, an Americana concert, and a simply thrilling musical.
