Community Conversations on Building a Sustainable Peer Workforce: New York City's Fifth Annual Behavioral Health Peers Conference

As the services provided by Certified Peer Support Workers in both governmental and private-sector settings continue to be a major part of the foundation of value-added services, the need for a well-trained peer workforce has never been more urgent. Therefore, it is critical that peers and providers work together to meet the needs of an evolving behavioral health workforce.

This one-day conference will bring together peers and providers in the substance use disorder and mental health communities to address employment, professional development, and skill building as well as opportunities for career coaching and mentoring.
