Atrium 360°: GSM Creative presents Half Dead feat. Dylan Golden
For this poetic and striking evening at the Atrium, the short film Half Dead will be screened alongside interludes of live hip-hop performance featuring filmmaker and rapper Dylan Golden. Produced by GSM Creative Dylan Golden, Bianca Golden and Iullia Rudenko Golden, a collective of artists who aspire to share the stories of marginalized people through film, Half Dead chronicles the journey of a young man of color who is exasperated with the current social injustices in America and around the world. Touching upon racial divisions, police brutality, and corruption in the government, Half Dead was filmed in Golden’s Brooklyn neighborhood, Flatbush, a community that has been affected tremendously by racism, poverty, and violence.
