After eight years, this film has evolved from a global exploration into a coming-of-age story and a heartfelt love letter to the Black diaspora.Now, we want to share it with you — before the world sees itAttendees will receive an exclusive look at the new trailer and fundraising video before the launch of our Kickstarter on May 20th. followed by an intimate Q & A with the director, Wilhelmina Simone, at the Black-owned restaurant Jolo's.We're raising funds to help us complete the film and asking for a suggested donation of $100.That said, we know the weight of the world right now, so give what feels right.
