- **Event Description**: Join us for SHORE STORIES - four short films that highlight the growing resistance to offshore drilling building across the U.S., as well as stories from past oil and gas exploration – including the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster. 

The Stories are told by a broad range of people who love the coast and stand together in opposition to drilling--surfers, fishermen, scientists, environmentalists, business owners, and coastal residents. 

Here in Louisiana, we know all too well the devastating consequences of offshore drilling, so we must be at the forefront of saying NO to the continued exploitation and extraction of our water, our land, and our people!

After the films we’ll provide a creative way to get involved in resisting these disastrous plans: the "Peoples Ocean Energy Management" (POEM), hosted by Another Gulf Is Possible.

Join us to stand together to protect the coast, creatively vision a different future, and learn how we can stop offshore drilling.
