Do you wish to explore the link between great Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chisti and Delhi’s most famous Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya while walking the lanes of the oldest bazaars of Delhi?

Did you know that one of the largest man-made water reservoir of the Eastern worlds was once in Mehrauli?

We the storytellers of DelhiByFoot, will take you on a tryst with the Sufi mystic masters and the Slaves who became Sultans! Join us this Sunday morning on an adventure exploring the regal ruins of Mehrauli, Delhi's oldest continuously inhabited city, 1000-year old stories and reliving the teachings of Sufi saints through the tales of the earliest 'Sufi Pirs' at probably Delhi's oldest Sufi shrine....

The story-telling sessions will be done in Urdu/Hindi and English also.
DATE & TIME: 9:00AM, Sunday, 17th Dec, 2017
MEETING POINT: Opp. Mehrauli DTC Bus Terminal. Once you reach please call your walk leader Mehtab @ 9650515135
CHARGES: Rs.400/person
Discounts: Children aged below 8 years are allowed free! We accept only 50% of our normal fees if enthusiastic Senior Citizens aged 60 & above join us.

BEST WAY TO REACH: Take the Metro till Qutb Minar on the Yellow Line (Gurgaon-Jahangirpuri Track), cross MG Road & then take an Autorickshaw (Rs 50) or Park your cars at Qutb Minar complex & take an Autorickshaw (Rs 30). DTC buses also run from all parts of Delhi to Mehrauli Bus Terminal

ESSENTIALS TO WEAR & CARRY:
1- All participants should carry something to cover their heads with, so be it dupattas, scarves, handkerchiefs etc for the entry to Dargah.
2- Dress appropriately to respect local religious sentiments...and its cold evenings, so cover yourself well!!!
3- Do wear a good pair of walking shoes or flip-flops, we walk for almost 1.5 Kms.
4- Keep minimal numbers/amount of valuables with you.
5- Delhi is reeling under plastic waste, let's not pollute our city any further, so request you to carry your own bottle of water.
