जहान-ए-ज़न : Night Walk in Oldest Jungles of Delhi, Mehrauli

This walk is being organised as part of the “जहान-ए-ज़न 2018" – (World of women) Event Series on occasion of International Women's Day 8th March.
Re-discover stories and re-claim experiences in Delhi that are an indelible testimony to the impact of women who have helped shape Delhi's destiny, Then in the past and Now in the present !!!

Historical Tales, Tall Tales, Old Tales....in Delhi's Oldest Jungles and Historic city, Walk with us at Twilight.....and into the quiet darkness of the night!

When we hear the word 'Twilight', we invariably know that it's the time to wrap up for the day...since not just the so-called 'supernatural spirits', but also the city's darker elements come to the fore...the unknown making us afraid!

Join us as we will take you on a whole new way of experiencing our bustling metropolitan city.....When the golden orb of the most glorious sunset that you can witness in Delhi, gives way to the ghostly darkness which envelopes the forest trail and takes on an eerie avatar...

Into that Twilight Zone, on a "Amaavas Ki Raat", we will take you for a walk on the walls of Delhi's oldest Fort (almost 1100 yrs old)...scouting the scene of multiple battles and scores of graves...where Delhi's oldest forests on Southern Ridge are lit by the flickering city lights, and where a flash of your torch can seemingly transform the most innocent looking tree into the abode of the supernatural and scary!

Presentation will be done in mix of Urdu, Hindi & English.
