- **Event Description**: There’s a lot of excitement in this neck of the woods as the High Sierra Music Festival has moved to the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley this July. The lineup is amazing with a wide range of eclectic talent. The final touch will be the addition of a determined band making its way through some stiff competition to land a coveted spot on the festival stage. 

We had so much fun last year hosting this competition and are chomping at the bit for round two. Four bands from around the region will step into the Thunderdome to show their stuff. They will each play a 30-minute set and the winner will ultimately be determined based on crowd response. Then they will head to the final round which involves an online vote exclusive to festival ticket holders. The bands are: The Gold Souls, Blu Egyptian, Danny Horton Trio and Loud Flower. Come and enjoy some music while making your voice heard with the potential to alter the course of a band’s career.
