Ginger Molasses - Hot Summer Nights After Party at the Crazy Horse

Ginger Molasses captivates audiences with an intoxicating and energetic blend of nostalgia and innovation. Channeling the golden era of the 1960s and 70s, the band delivers a timeless rock ‘n roll experience. Frontwoman Tawnee Kendall holds nothing back in delivering high-energy performances, outrageous costumes and soul-stirring vocals to keep audiences riveted from start to finish.

Backed by a collective of seasoned musicians who all display a cool swagger of their own, Ginger Molasses boasts a caliber of songwriting and musicianship that truly stands out among the local music scene. They bring to mind Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt and Sharon Jones, while establishing their own sense of unabashed originality. They came in a very close runner-up for the High Sierra Music Festival Band Competition at the Crazy Horse in May. This made it clear just how far along the band is at a relatively early stage of its career. They’ll be closing out our Hot Summer Nights After Party series with two sets of meticulously curated dance candy.
