Whether you joined us for a litter pick before or are coming for the first time, you are welcome here.Supported by the National Trust rangers at Alderley Edge and together with Helen from who offers healing sound as we go, and Tina the Litter Picking Pixie sharing her inspiring story set at The Edge we gather for a simple morning of community action - tending to the land we visit and sharing a moment of stillness for short guided meditation of gratitude, with gentle sound fro Helen before heading back into the day.The National Trust team kindly provide litter pickers, bin bags and gloves, and have offered free parking for attendees (members please scan your cards as usual).Once we've finished you are welcome to join us for a warm drink at The Wizard Tearoom together (refreshments not included).An act of careMeaningful care for the natural world doesn't happen in one day. Named after the dramatic red sandstone escarpment which gives views over the Cheshire Plain. This was once an active metal-mine dating back to prehistoric times. The woodlands are predominately Beech, Oak and Scots Pine, a magical nature spot cared for by the National Trust.
