■Pandora Percussive Guitar Ensembleとは？
Pandora は、ブラジル・ベロ・オリゾンテを拠点に活動するギターアンサンブルです。クラシックギターを打楽器のように演奏する「パーカッシヴ・ギター」を軸に、演奏だけでなく、作曲、教育、研究、楽器制作まで幅広い活動を行っています。
メンバーの多くは演奏家であると同時に作曲家でもあり、新しいレパートリーの創作やエレクトロニクスを取り入れた作品制作、教育プログラムや教材の開発、さらには楽器製作家との協働によるギターの新たな可能性の探究まで、多角的な活動を展開しています。
ミナス・ジェライス州立大学（UEMG）やブラジル国立科学技術開発評議会（CNPq）と連携し、演奏と研究を結びつけた活動を続けています。また、教育的ギター編曲に関する研究では学会で最優秀賞を受賞し、2024年にはミナス・ジェライス州議会主催の音楽コンクール「Segunda Musical」で第1位を獲得するなど、芸術・研究の両面で高い評価を受けています。
