# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Nerang Country Paradise Parklands
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 03 Oct, 2026 at 09:00 am (+10:00)
- **Event Description**: COUNTRY PARADISE PARKLANDS, NERANG

Our next sketch meet will be held at Country Paradise Parklands, a sketcher’s Paradise, with plenty of architectural and landscape opportunities. It is a GCCC facility managed by a local community group - Nerang Country Paradise Association.

There is a pretty amazing adventure playground for kids; and dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

WHEN: Saturday 3rd October

TIME: 9am - 11.30am

HOST: Cindy Jeffrey

WHERE TO MEET: 231 Nerang- Beaudesert Rd, Nerang, about 2km past Nerang Village.

Meet on site near the building with the clock tower

THROWDOWN: 11.30 at the clock tower

LUNCH AFTER: There is no cafe on site or nearby, a small price to pay for a lovely setting, so Cindy suggests a byo picnic lunch on the lawns.

Alternatively, there are cafes in Nerang village about 3 mins drive, if you would prefer to gather with friends there.

PARKING: ALL parking is free on site

TOILETS: On site

WHAT TO BRING: Art gear, folding stool, hat, sunscreen, water

WHAT TO SKETCH: Plenty of choice at this location.

A gaol, church, old building, stables, dunnies, horses, chickens, parklands and landscapes, magnificent trees, etc.

What more could we ask for - maybe test yourself with sketching a subject different to your norm.

Challenge yourself on one of the grand trees instead of a building maybe, or an animal in lieu of some people. We're looking forward to some amazing sketches.
