Host: Gold Coast Branch
Venue: Gold Coast Beekeepers’ Shed, 74 Billabirra Crescent, Nerang. (Note: this is at the rear of Nerang Country Parklands, Nerang- Beaudesert Road, Nerang. Some GPS will direct you to the Parklands, rather than Billabirra Crescent.) Look for feather flags. There is plenty of parking both on and off the street at the shed.
Date: Saturday, 21 March, 2026
Time: 9:30am for morning tea (provided).
Guest Speakers: Graham and Beth McDonald will do a presentation – ‘Western Wildflower Wandering’ based on their western Queensland holiday last September after plentiful rains in this area. The presentation will include native plants of Barakula,
Gurulmundi, Charleville, Quilpie, Welford National Park, Windorah, and Thargomindah. Come and start to familiarise yourself with the vegetation of some areas where participants, in the Queensland 2028 Conference, will visit.
Lunch: BYO, at the meeting venue.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Excursion: after the meeting, Graham will lead a walk around the Nerang Country Parklands Gardens.
