Discover which feathered friends stay with us through the cold months! In this engaging class, children will learn about the birds that don’t fly south for winter. We’ll listen for bird calls, look for nests and feeders, and make simple bird feeders to help our avian neighbors stay warm and fed. Through stories, songs, and outdoor exploration, children will connect with nature and discover the joy of watching winter birds! This program is intended for children ages 2-4 with their caregiver.
**Important Notes:
Your first ticket is for you and 1 child. If you have more children in the age group, please purchase an additional ticket for each child. To ensure we have enough supplies, please purchase additonal tickets for any older siblings who would like to be active participants (make the craft, have the snack, etc.). Children less than 2 years old are free.
Program meets in St. Francis Hall, located in the main Wayne and Donna Neu Building, and runs from 10:00-11:30am. Participants are welcome to stay after group time and play or eat lunch.
Online registration only. Ticket sales close at 3pm the day before.
Refunds not available within two weeks of the program date.
